Black Tung Residency

Black Tung Residency: Berlin July 2-30, 2013.  

I will be working on a small volume of writings, drawings and field recordings that will be compiled into a small-run artist edition book of words and images, with an accompanying album of the busted tape voice synth trash i've been making as of recent.  

Also, new full length album of worthwhile proportion being finished and will hopefully be released in some valid form by some valid label by the end of summer.

Spring Schedule

February was one of the longest months in recent memory.

Two shows lined up for early spring:

3.17.13 w/ ZAIMPH and Keith Fullerton Whitman at Lilypad in Cambridge. 9pm. Should be a good one.

4.6.13 w/Ashley Paul, a record release party for her "Line the Clouds" LP on REL, coming out 3.26.
Studio Soto 7pm. courtesy of our favorite people at Non-Event. Ashley has a sound that's truly unique and intimate, really looking forward to playing with her.

As for my recent sounds, expect an expanded upon and slightly more complex vocabulary from the human hand/happy farm tapes. I've been using a very primitive, but so far effective, lo-fi electro acoustic rig with some old reel-to-reels and console tape machines. Hopefully i will get some of this recorded in the upcoming months.

FGF8

New FGF8 tape out on GRYDCOMPLEX along with Ouxatil 95. Electro-trash limited edition cassettes by Lee Tindall. FGF8 is an alias project of mine that is primarily electro laptop processing that sits on the harsher side of things. Nice batch, with hand-stamped labels and covers. Buy both from Lee before they're gone. Ultra-light run, they won't be around long.
